Famitsu has already published its ranking of the best-selling video games and consoles in Japan during the week June 21-27, a period that, as you can see, has been marked by new releases. In fact, seven of the 10 games that appear on this list are premieres, as is the case with Mario Golf: Super Rush, which has been placed first with more than 80,000 units sold.

In second and third position we find the PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions of Samurai Warriors 5, a title that will not be released in Spain until July 27 but that in Japan has sold a total of 94.366 units, which for practical purposes would place it in first position above Mario Golf: Super Rush. In third position we find Video Game Studio, the title that has been holding the first position for the last few weeks, although that position is actually from Scarlet Nexus, which between its version of PS4 and that of PS4 has sold a total of 31,168 units.

Nintendo Switch continues to lead the ranking of console sales in Japan

Regarding the hardware, Switch maintains its rhythm adding 72,951 ms consoles to its total units sold since its launch, counting both the standard model and the Lite version. PS5 has sold 23,438 between its two versions, while Xbox Series X/S has sold 4113 consoles. PS4 It is in fourth place with 2548 units in total. Next-gen consoles continue to have stock problems in Japan, according to Gematsu.
