Thanks to the fact that today the demo of Resident Evil 8: Village On all platforms, the YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits has been able to perform a graphical and performance comparison between the versions of Xbox Series X/S Y PlayStation 5, allowing us to better understand the technical differences that exist between each of these platforms.
In the video you just posted we find out that the game runs at a resolution of 2160p without going below that mark at any time on both PS5 and Xbox Series X, while in Series S the figure is 1440p. On the other hand, it seems that X series maintains better performance than Sony’s next-generation console with Ray-Tracing enabled and suffers fewer falls. On Series S, if we activate this technology the rate of images per second becomes 40 fps, while without it it maintains a very stable 60 fps. For the rest, the graphic quality aims to be identical between versions and the only difference would be that PS5 takes 3 seconds less to load.
