Containing the hype in the face of summer events
When Koch Media announced their event at Summer Game Fest 2021 all eyes were on Deep Silver, one of the main companies it groups together, and that had recently unveiled the Free Radical Design meeting to develop a new TimeSplitters. However, before the hype go crazy, they have decided to cut their losses and confirm that they will not take this or other sagas to the broadcast.
It is not the first time that someone has asked to keep expectations at bay in the face of summer events such as: “I think there will be some important announcements and some highly anticipated things (…) but also I will be careful with expectations“he said recently Geoff Keighley, responsible for Summer Game Fest 2021: “I know that fans want to go back to the madness of E3, and I think there will be good things, but I think it will take a little time for things to improve.”
