Deathloop, the new game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, delayed release until September 14. This has been announced by those responsible for it in a video published on the game’s official account on Twitter, a statement in which they explain that they need more time to continue polishing the project, so they will not arrive in time to release it on May 21 in PS5 and PC, as planned. When it arrives it will do so with two editions: one standard for 69,99 euros and another Deluxe for 89,99 euros in Spain.
Have been Dinga Bakaba, director of Deathloop, and Sebastien Mitton, art director of the game, who have appeared in the video to explain the reasons for the delay of its premiere: “We have taken the very difficult decision to postpone the launch of Deathloop until September 14, 2021 “, the statement published by the study begins, and continues:” We are committed to quality and to maintaining the ambitions of the Deathloop at the same time as with ensuring the health and safety of everyone at Arkane“.
“Soon” they will show news of Deathloop
“We are going to use this extra time to reach our goal: to create a fun, elegant and groundbreaking experience”They add in the statement, in which they also apologize for having had to make this decision: “We apologize for extending the wait and we thank you for your passion and emotion. This is the fuel that makes both our creativity and our hard work work.” . In addition, they add that “soon” they will show more news from Deathloop.
Deathloop was scheduled for the end of 2020, but in August of last year a delay caused by the coronavirus was announced. After that, the studio confirmed its original release date last November after leaking on the PS Store. It will finally arrive a few months later than expected, but it will keep its temporary exclusivity on PS5 consoles for a year, a platform in which to have certain new generation graphic features such as resolution of 4K already 60 images per second, compatibility with HDRtechnologist ray tracing for shadows and ambient occlusion.
