A couple of days ago the existence of Slipstream, an internal test version of Call of Duty: Vanguard, the new game in the series whose name has not yet been officially revealed. Everything we know about the annual first-person shooter franchise title is based on rumors and leaks, except that Sledgehammer Games is in charge of development, which Activision itself confirmed. Now we have also learned that this trial version is already working on PS5.
It was the Twitter account PlayStation Games Sizes who has shared this information. Thanks to her we know that those responsible for Call of Duty: Vanguard They are already testing the game on PS5, thus confirming its already evident launch on this new generation console. We also know the size of this trial version: based on the data shared by this account, only the internal version of the new Call of Duty occupies 35,3 GB on the PS5 SSD, so we will have to make room for the final version when it is released, probably at the end of the year.

The traditional annual leak of the internal version of the new Call of Duty
As they remember from PlayStation Games Sizes, This is not the first time that an internal version of a Call of Duty; In fact, the last five installments of the franchise have had their own private alphas of which we have come to know their name and logo: that of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare it was called GreenTables, the Call of Duty: WWII it was called Storm Flood, the one of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 era The Breach, la de Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was codenamed Pavelous and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War had an internal version called The Red Door.
We will have to wait a little longer to know new details about Call of Duty: Vanguard, a name that, we recall, has not yet been officially decided. What does seem to be more certain is that this new game will be set in World War II and that its multiplayer mode will be an improved version of the previous installment.
