Little by little, more computer games begin to use the functionalities of the DualSense, the PlayStation 5 controller that was sold as one of the workhorses of Sony’s new console. In April, together with the launch of Metro Exodus: Enhanced Edition, added support for adaptive triggers to the shooter by 4A Games. At the beginning of the month, the same thing happened with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Now it’s another shooter game that has introduced this feature: Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

The title of Treyarch and Activision received on July 15 the Season 4 Reloaded, a mid-season update with numerous tweaks and various content updates. What was not said in the patch notes is the inclusion of compatibility with the DualSense on PC, as they warned in the subreddit dedicated to the game and reports the British division of Eurogamer.

However, the implementation comes with some flaws. There is no problem with the adaptive triggers (you can see how it works in the video of the YouTube user “Paulo” inserted below), but some players report that there is an error with the menu option that allows them to be deactivated: until several games are played, they are not deactivated. Also, other players say in the same forum as the hepatic response does not work, so the remote does not vibrate.

As it happens with Metro Exodus and with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, to take advantage of the unique features of the DualSense in the game is need to connect it with cable, since Sony has not yet released drivers for Bluetooth PC connections. The padBy the way, it is also compatible with mobile devices, but these features are not used there.

What’s New in Season 4 Reloaded

Returning to Season Four Reloaded with CoD, there is new content for all modes. On Zombies A new map is added that comes with new perks, an awesome weapon, a crafting item, challenges, and information. The Multiplayer receive the Rush map (there is a list dedicated to this map), the Paintball Grab and Pit modes, the Butt Pit list, professional projects such as league play rewards, and projects from the Prestige Store.

Finally, a new operator (Weaver), and the weapons OST 9 and MAZA. Also, in Call of Duty: Warzone Added Charge mode, Sentinel Turret kill streak, and new projects. Many of these new features can be tested in the free trial that will take place from July 22 to 29 on all platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X / S, PS4 and Xbox One.
