Among Us has gone from 350,000 to 2 million users over the weekends

Innersloth, the developer team behind the game, has reported a significant increase in gamers of Among Us thanks to the gift of the Epic Games Store. Typically, the daily average number of Among Us players is around 350,000 users on Saturdays, which is when players have the most time to dedicate to the video game. As shown in a graph shared by Victoria Tran, Community Director from Among Us, on Saturday May 22 the game registered around 350,000 users, while the following Saturday, May 29, the daily player count increase to 2 million.

Victoria Tran attributes the increase in users to various factors. Beyond the availability of the game in Epic Games Store, new players from other platforms that are not the PC they have also contributed to the increase in players. Also, Americans have had a long weekend so probably more people have been playing or testing the game. Either way, Tran comments that the most important thing is that the Overall feeling was excellent and that she is grateful that new players join the community from Among Us. Remember that the video game of Innersloth is still available for free on the Epic Games Store, although the deadline is on Thursday, June 3 at 5:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time) until before it restores its original price and becomes payment again.
